Slogging Through It

Morning Earthicans!


In the last 2 weeks the project has taken a turn, with developments that it could turn into a contracted project fully licensing it commercially. Due to this the main character had to be stripped of any key graphical remnants of the heavy character from which the rigs model was based off of from Team Fortress 2 <3

So preparing the project to not infringe, Proton was re-modelled! Before I got to that I had to find a script powerful enough to deal with transferring all the current animation tracing world space. So after that I gave the go ahead and Proton was re-made! Here are the list of things that were improved upon!


- All Armour geo was re-worked
- A lot of new pieces were introduced
- Body went through sculpting
- New face! 2 Eyes :)
- NEW GUN!
- He has a cape! Aw hell yeah.
- General load of other things


So now that that is out of the way I'm looking into getting a new rig for the zombies which will most likely be morpheus! Due to the freedom of the re-working of proton he's going to be textured and fully mapped this time round, hooray!


So plan A is getting licensing.

Plan B is using the project as proof of concept.

Plan C is moving into Blender.




On work done over the last 2 weeks:

[Animation]

- Shot 4 had some revisions again (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
- Shot 30 was finished
- Shot 25 has been started
- Shot 12 had it's main character finished



[Tech Art]

- Proton 2.0 has been modelled
- Proton's cape has had its simulation set up
- Re-rigging Protons new assets
- Final concept art for the soldiers armour and his gun were finished
- Modelling on the soldiers gun had started
