It's the end of the world in 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! Don't worry it's not the end of the world, I promise. Anyway, it's so exciting; the first blog post of the new year! I'm very proud of the crew for not getting too wasted this new years as they're immediately back on their feet, straight back into work!

Let's recap what happened last year for the uninformed:

- Film was fathomed in August 2011
- Pre-production started
- Assets were assembled in September
- Animation started in October
- The idea of turning it into an independent film from a personal film started around the same time
- Recruitment started in November
- PR started in December

To the present we're pressing on in the new year! The animation is scheduled to be 75% finished by May of  this year and it is planned to have the 2nd presentation in June to reel in the Technical artists, it will also be a public presentation this time, oh boy. I will be going to see the head of VFX at Vanarts this coming Tuesday to set things up! Wish me luck :-D

Now for work on the film done this week! No digital media for today, more text though (yay!):

- More zombies have been finished or are being very close to finished
- The first "special" zombie has been finished
- Shot 16 has been started
- Shot 37 has been started
- Shot 9 has been started
- The animatic for the 2nd half of Act 2 is 50% finished
- The assets for Act 4 are about 40% assembled
