Also I did a lot of research on more of the music to go into the film, gah this part has been bitter sweet, yes I get to listen to music which I love but holy hell is it annoying to find something that potentially is just right. I don't think I'm quite settled yet with that but it's getting there and so is scene 6! Where is scene 5 though? It was CUT! Well, more accurately scenes 4-5 were merged, the only thing is I didn't re-number all the panels so the shots are sticking with what they originally had.
Scene 6 drove me absolutely insane, I had so many posing tests with various ideas on how he opens and/or struggles to keep open that bloody door! Which also means I only just got it into blocking after much tribulation, table flipping and desks to faces. I'm so glad I updated my workflow at the start of this project, I think this scene would literally killed me otherwise.
Shots 1-6:
I cut the truck-in at the start for viewing purposes, it'll be back when the film is done.
Onto the music! "The Girl from Ipanema" Will be used for the elevator scene, this one is definite:
Next is "Dark Techno"! Well it couldn't be more blunt, this is for the monolithic zombie scene which will be posted next week! Oh lord it took me a while to find this one and I'm still not entirely sure of it, the obvious choice was "In the House - In a Hearbeat" from 28 days later, it is a very iconic zombie track which makes it impossible to use because I don't want y'all thinking about 28 days later in this shot lol!
Oh my god more techno?! "ParagonX9 - Infiltration" and "Rob Zombie - Dragula/Superbeast" have all been butting there heads over who gets to play in the fight scene which I'd like to add have had additional zombies and gunfire added in its previs "yay". It's all gonna be down to what fits best when I get to adding SFX which looks like a mouthful so far.
On to the credits, I'm thinking of contacting Egoraptor or my buddy Paul to do some animation for the credits, it would be great either way! Not entirely decided about the sound track but I did find "Paragonx9 - Chaoz Fantasy" to work with, we'll see!
