[CROWDING]
[News]
Blargh!! That is because today I'm posting the second pass at the zombie crowd, not posting them in the scene but you can see the proxy and a profile of them walking together! Unfortunately two had to be dropped because of various technical maya issues, but so far 8 have made it out of the gate. Some have had a few tweaks where others have been polished from the ground up.
In other news Ronaldo De-Azevedo is joinng the team helping out with layout and animation, so welcome to the team Ronaldo!
[Layout & Animation]
- Blargh!! Shot 2 has been adjusted to reflect Proton's newness to the world and has returned to a blocking stage for the first half, the second half is yet to be polished
- Shot 26 received a new camera move & a new proxy crowd
- Crowd animation has been finalized to 8 zombies, 1 more zombie is on its way
- Shot 41 is having the monster roar some more with an extra breath before getting closer
[Tech Art & Design]
- Environment design is finally getting started, research is being gathered for the first set
- Looking into steampunk and the deathstar under construction as reference
- Environment damage/carnage and breaking up the linearity and conformity of the tunnel design is being looked into
- More props are being designed
- The bridge room is ballooning to 100x its original size to fit a nuclear reactor, elevators and a convenient exit
- The elevator room is having its design looked into as well
[Music & Sound Design]
